Geometry and Place – Judith Duquemin
In Geometry and Place, artist Judith Duquemin draws from recent research and early childhood impressions of Bundaberg’s cane fields and rural landscapes to create paintings, drawings, digital prints and textiles. The artist’s interest in environment, geometry and mathematical code has led to extensive experimentation with irregular grids using limited colour palettes. Duquemin’s abstracted geometric works are exhibited in Australia and internationally.
